Family Company Since 1938
Laurence Aylward Hearne started L.A. Hearne Company in 1938. His son, Tim Hearne, bought the company’s first truck in 1964. In that time, the trucks were only used for hauling products within the company. When one of Tim’s sons, Jim Hearne, came back to the company, the trucking services were made available to other companies. His children, Ivy, Wiley, and Amity, have grown up around the trucks, becoming drivers themselves.
In this photo, you can see three generations of Hearne truck drivers, along with winery reps.
Community Involvement
The L.A. Hearne Trucking division is committed
to supporting our community. Our trucks are
used in every parade that goes through King
City. The high school and local 4-H clubs love
to decorate our trailers for their celebratory
cruise around town. Expect to see us for
homecoming, the Fourth of July, and the King
City Christmas Parade.
In this photo, you can see one of the many trucks in the 2023 King City Fourth of July Parade. Our drivers enjoy showing off their trucks and their patriotism.
